Development
Infima is a Stanford University spinoff building a transformative prediction service for the $10T mortgage securities market. As the first design hire, I led the design on product, branding, and marketing. I also contributed as developer, building the marketing site, developer site, and an internal auth tool.
Sadly, Infima went under during the banking crisis in 2023 when we lost our lead investor, so I didn't get to finish several projects I was looking forward to.
Platform
As part of the rebrand, I began exploratory work on a complete overhaul of the design and UX of their web app.
Rebrand
Infima needed a complete redesign of their brand identity for the next phase of the company. The brand needed to move away from the look of a young startup and communicate credibility and trust to their more traditional financial customers. The logo mark was inspired by Roman columns and built structures, as well as mathematics and generative AI, and the goal was to create a symbol that communicated stability and strength. We opted for a warm color scheme to stand out not just from typical fintech companies but traditional finance companies, to allude to the forward-thinking nature of our technology.
