Hi, I'm Cindy. A designer and technologist. I've spent the last 7 years designing with data for enterprise financial software. Prior to that, I freelanced as a designer and developer for magazines, social apps, authors, and startups.

My work in media, particularly literary magazines, led me to think of interfaces as a medium of communication—communicating functionality and purpose. I bring a lot of attention to words in UX.

At one point I took a break from design to pursue film, and have trained with the Living Theatre as well as the Upright Citizens Brigade learning improv. I also worked as a costume designer.

Currently, I'm taking a break while I explore new opportunities. If you are working on an interesting challenge, I'd love to hear about it.
